Samuel Lem
"Being an officer and the system management design lead, I focus on ensuring each sub-system is running smoothly and communicating effectively with one another. I look to improve all aspects of the club, from team building to manufacturing processes, I work to create a more efficient system. I encourage all members to be heard and utilized for their skills while at the same time making sure they have room to grow."

Power Systems
"My sub team is concerned with how the tunnel boring machine is safely powered and with which electronics are needed on-board.
My hometown is Mill Valley, CA and in my free time I enjoy surfing, reading, and playing water polo."

Sebastian Bessoudo
"In the ongoing year, our focus lies on developing and acquiring an open-loop liquid-based mucking system, alongside a closed-loop water cooling system designated for employment with the tunnel boring machine. As a dedicated third-year Mechanical Engineering student with a concentration in mechatronics, I enjoy hanging out with my friends on the weekend and learning new things for my future career."
Cutterhead
"As the cutter head design lead, I oversee the team that designs our tunnel boring machine’s cutter head, cutting tools, cutter head shaft, and gearbox. I am also a cal poly machine shop technician and help assist with the manufacturing of the TBM. I’m currently a 3rd year mechanical engineering student. I am a huge 3d printing nerd and love all things manufacturing."
